How to Add Subtitles in Video Player
Subtitles enhance the accessibility and understandability of videos, particularly in educational contexts. This guide provides a step-by-step process for adding subtitles in your Course Player and Test video player, ensuring that all learners can fully engage with the content.
Step 1: Accessing and Selecting Video Content
- Navigate to 'Products' and Click 'Contents' to view existing items (or) Choose 'Upload Content' to add new uploads.
- For now, I Selected a video content as previously uploaded.
Step 2: Uploading Subtitles and Captions
This page displays the uploaded Video Content.
- In the Captions and Subtitles Section, Click the dropdown menu and select your preferred language.
- Click 'choose File' to upload your caption and Subtitle files.
Step 3: Managing Subtitles in the Course Video Player
On left side, shows the uploaded file name.
This is the captions and Subtitles appears in Course Video Player.
If you need to 'ON/OFF' the subtitles, click the 'CC' (or) 'Settings' Icon.
Step 4: Viewing Subtitles in the Course Video Player
The Course player appears here, displaying captions in the Video Player.
Step 5: Adding Subtitles in the Course Promotional Videos
Go to 'Products', Select 'courses' and then Click 'Create a Course' (or) 'Manage Courses' to add/replace the Promotional Video (Youtube, Vimeo Video URL, Choose from your video library)
Step 6: Accessibilty with Subtitles in Promotional Video
Subtitles are included in the promotional video for courses to enhance accessibility and improve understanding for all viewers.
Step 7: Adding Subtitles in Video Test Player
- Navigate to 'Assessments', Go to "Add Questions" Sections. Click dropdown menu and select 'video question'.
- Choose the uploaded video player with subtitles from the content library.

Upload the Caption Uploaded Video test player in the Questions.
