To make the assessments interactive, BrainCert lets instructors create audio & video questions. This article will guide you through the steps to create audio and video test questions in BrainCert.
You will be redirected to the the Questions dashboard.
Click on the 'Add Test Question' button to get started.
Every question needs to be mapped to a question objective. The final score will include the objective score breakdown that will help accurately pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses of candidates.
Click on 'Add Objective' to create a new objective (You can also create objectives by following the 'Objectives' link in test options).
Audio questions allow playing an audio file as a question which the respondents must answer. Choose the Audio file from the content library and enter the question details and answers
Video questions allow playing a video file as a question which the respondents must answer. Choose the Video file from the content library and enter the question details and answers
Assign Question Difficulty Level
The question difficulty level is presented as 5 rating stars. You are required to assign the question difficulty level to each question which is particularly useful when you select Adaptive Scoring when creating/editing the test.
Add relevant text to your Question
Add text relevant to your question in the designated field . You can also click on "Whiteboard Editor" to open it as a popup window to draw shapes, generate LaTEX math equations, and etc., and save it as an image. You can then insert that image in the editor as supporting content.
Please note that whiteboard editor requires Adobe Flash to work.
Select the right answers
Add text in the HTML editor relevant to your answer choices and click on the correct answer choice on the left. You can dynamically add a new answer choice by clicking "Add New" blue button.
Add details explaining the answer choices or question in general. The test taker can see the question explanation if "Viewing Answers" is enabled or at the end of the test when reviewing the questions.
