Step-by-Step Instructions for Utilizing Social Hub

The Social Hub in BrainCert is a dynamic feature designed to foster engagement and collaboration among learners.

This guide will help you navigate and make the most of the Social Hub.



Updating Your Profile

Step 1:

Navigate to the 'My Profile' icon on your dashboard.

Step 2:

Open the 'Account details' from the list.

Step 3:

Go to My Profile to fill in your 'Tagline' and a 'Short Bio'.

Your tagline and bio will be displayed in the Social Hub info, allowing other members to learn more about you. 


Creating a Hub

Step 4:

Go to the Social Hub under 'Community'. Click on 'Create Hub' and fill in the required details like the hub name, description, and privacy settings (public or private).

Editing Cover Image

After uploading the cover image, it can be edited using the 'Edit' option.

Upload Photo: Upload a new photo from your device.

Add from Library: Select an image from the existing library.

Reposition: Adjust the position of your cover image for optimal visual impact.

Managing Spaces

After creating a hub, you can create spaces to organize discussions on specific topics within your hub

Step 5:

Go to Social Hub and click on the options of the created hub. Select 'Manage Spaces' from the option.

Step 6:

Click the '+Add Space' button.

Step 7:

Enter 'Space Name' and click on the 'Save' button.

Step 8:

Now, the created spaces can be modified or deleted using the 'Edit' and 'Delete' icons.

Step 9:

When you open the hub you'll be able to see the description that was added to the profile details, and the spaces created will be displayed below. 

By clicking on the space name, you can easily switch between one space and another.

Sharing Your Thoughts

Step 10:

In the hub, you can share your thoughts using text, photos, videos, or files. Click on the appropriate icon to add your content.

Step 11:

Engage with posts by liking or commenting on them. To comment, write your comment and click 'Post'.

Options in Posting

You can manage each post after posting using the several options provided:

Pin to Top: Keep important posts at the top of the hub.

Edit: Modify the content of your post.

Change Space: Move the post to a different space.

Copy Link: Get a direct link to the post.

Report This Post: Flag inappropriate content.

Turn Off Comments: Disable commenting on your post.

Delete: Remove the post entirely.

Switching Between Hubs

Easily switch between different hubs you are a part of by using the hub navigation menu.
