How to Configure Payment Express for E-Commerce
Payment Express allows organizations to securely accept online payments for courses and subscriptions through the Learnly e-commerce platform. Before learners can make payments using Payment Express, administrators must enable the extension, configure the required API credentials, and choose the supported payment types.
This article explains how to enable and configure Payment Express for your Learnly e-commerce store.
Enable the Payment Express Extension
Before configuring Payment Express, ensure the extension is enabled in Global Settings.
Step 1: Open Apps & Extensions
Navigate to 'Global Settings' and click 'Apps & Extensions'.
Step 2: Enable Payment Express
Locate 'Payment Express' in the list of available extensions. Turn on the toggle and click 'Save'.
Configure Payment Express
After enabling the extension, configure the payment gateway settings.
Step 3: Open Payment Express Settings
Navigate to 'Global Settings' and open 'E-Commerce'.
Step 4: Configure Sales Tax
Turn on the 'Enable Payment Express' option. Under 'Enable Sales Tax', choose one of the following options:
- Yes – Apply sales tax during checkout (where applicable).
- No – Disable sales tax calculations.
Step 5: Enter API Credentials
Enter your 'Client ID' and 'Client Secret'.
These credentials authenticate your account with the Payment Express payment gateway.
Step 6: Save the Configuration
Click 'Save Settings'. A success message appears confirming that the Payment Express settings have been saved successfully.
