Are there Transaction Fees for accepting credit card payments?

BrainCert does not charge any processing fee. However, Payment gateways such as Stripe and PayPal usually charge a fee when your customers pay you (for example Stripe currently charges 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). For details check out the pricing of the payment gateway of your choice.

What about security?

• Data security is of utmost importance to us - all our traffic is done over TLS 1.3, the web standard for secure data transmission, and files are stored with top-grade secured infrastructure.

• All customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Our cloud architecture leverages three layered Web Application Firewall (WAF) at the CDN, Load balancer, and at host-level to protect customer data.
• Similarly, we protect your audio and video files using signed URLs which are time-based tokens that are only valid for a limited period of time. Once that time window has expired, the access token contained in the link will no longer work.
  
  

What is the difference between “Most business” and “Very Small business” plans?

• Our “very small business” plans are designed for individual instructors, entrepreneurs, coaches, startups, and smaller teams with few educators.
• If you are a small to large business looking for a comprehensive platform to deliver partner, customer, employee, and custom training programs with role-based access control, and other enterprise-grade features such as SAML 2.0 SSO and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, then our “most business” plans would be the best fit for you.

Are there any limitations on cloud storage and file uploads?

There is no storage limitation. We provide unlimited cloud storage for all your digital content.

File upload limits are as follows:

• Presentations: ppt, pps, pptx, ppsx, pot, potx, odp (Max file size: 300MB)
• Documents: pdf, doc, docx, txt, xls, xlsx, rtf, odt, ods (Max file size: 300MB)
• Video: mp4, m4v, webm (Max file size: 1GB)
• Audio: aac, m4a, f4a, mp3, ogg, oga (Max file size: 600MB)
• Images: jpeg, jpg, png, svg, gif (Max file size: 30MB)
  
  

Can I switch plans or cancel at any time?

• You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time or cancel prior to renewal of your selected subscription i.e. ahead of the next billing term.
• If you switch from monthly to annual billing for the same plan, you will be charged immediately and your new billing cycle will start on the day you change.
• We’ll take into account what you’ve already paid from your current month and credit it towards your purchase.
• The price difference when changing plans will be automatically prorated, for example from monthly to annual subscription change.
• If you switch from annual to monthly billing for the same plan, your monthly billing will not start until the end of your current annual plan.

What is a white-label LMS solution?

• "White label" refers to a fully supported product or service that's made by BrainCert but re-branded under your company name, hence the term "white label".
• You can customize the LMS platform with your own logo, theme, domain, and identity, allowing customers to associate the product with your brand.

Do you offer a changelog service?

Can I create multiple learning domains?

• Absolutely! Most often this is used to separate internal (employee) training from external (customer/partner) training, or for multiple product brands.
• Training organizations may also want to set up completely separate training portals for their teams or clients.
