How to Use White-Label Email Service
Setting up a reliable and fully branded email delivery system is essential for professional communication. With the white-label email service, you can send all platform-generated emails directly from your own domain, improving trust, deliverability, and overall user experience.
This guide walks you through the simple steps to enable the service, configure your domain, and generate the required DNS records for seamless email sending.
Step 1: Open Mail Relay in Global Settings
Go to 'Global Settings' and select 'Mail Relay'.
Step 2: Choose White-Label Email Service
If you are currently using SMTP, click the 'Change' button to proceed.
Step 3: Purchase White-Label E-Mail Access
In the SMTP Settings (Outgoing Email Configuration) section, you’ll see two choices:
- SMTP Relay (Traditional) lets you send emails using your own SMTP details, such as Gmail or Office 365.
- White-Label Email Service uses a built-in email system with better deliverability and a dedicated sending setup for your domain.
Select 'White-Label E-Mail Service', and click 'Buy White-Label Access' to purchase.
Step 4: Complete the Payment
You will be taken to the payment page. Complete the payment by entering the required details and clicking 'Pay'. Once the payment is successful, you will be redirected back to the setup page.
Step 5: Add Your Sending Domain & Generate DNS Records
Enter your 'Sending Domain' (for example, mail.yourcompany.com or yourcompany.net) in the text box and click 'Generate DNS Records'.
Step 6: Generate DNS Records for the Sending Domain
BrainCert will generate the DNS entries (typically TXT and CNAME records) required for SPF, DKIM, and DMARC email authentication.
Step 7: Verify Connection
Now, in the DNS configuration screen, click 'Verify DNS & Connect.' Once verified, your domain will be activated for white-label email sending.
Step 8: Monitor Domain Warm‑Up Status
After a successful DNS connection, the 'Domain Warm‑Up' process starts automatically to build your domain’s reputation with mailbox providers. Then, use 'Send test email to myself' to verify everything works correctly.
You have now completed the setup for the white-label email service. Once your DNS entries are verified, all system emails, including notifications, updates, and password resets, will be sent from your custom domain, improving branding and deliverability.
