How to Enable and Use the Accessibility Extension
The Accessibility Extension helps users personalize their learning experience by adjusting visual and accessibility settings directly within the platform. Follow the steps below to enable and use it.
Step 1: Enable Accessibility Extension
Navigate to 'Global Settings' and select 'Apps & Extensions' to view and manage available integrations.
Step 2: Enable Accessibility Widget
Locate the Accessibility Widget, toggle it 'ON', and click 'Save'.
Step 3: Open the Accessibility Assistant
Once enabled, a blue accessibility icon appears in the bottom left corner. Click it to launch the assistant.
Step 4: Choose Accessibility Options
Inside the assistant, select from the following options:
Low Vision: Enhances contrast and magnifies content to support users with limited eyesight.
Color Blindness: Adjusts colors to ensure content is distinguishable for color-impaired users.
Dyslexia-Friendly: Changes font styles and spacing for easier reading by users with dyslexia.
Seizure Safe: Eliminates flashing animations and risky color combinations to prevent seizures for epilepsy-prone users.
Reduce Distractions: Minimizes on-screen clutter to help users with ADHD or neurodevelopmental needs focus better.
Motor Assistance: Enables full navigation and action using keyboard controls for users with motor impairments.
Cognitive Learning: Adds assistive features to help users with cognitive disabilities like autism or dyslexia focus on essential elements.
Keyboard Navigation: Makes the LMS fully operable using only keyboard shortcuts and tabbing for mouse-free access.
Step 5: Reset the Settings
Once an option is enabled, you'll see the 'Reset' icon. You can use this icon at any time to reset the settings.
