How to Set Up BrainCert Actions with Flowmattic

Published:
12 mins read

Flowmattic allows you to automate BrainCert actions seamlessly with other apps. By setting up an action, you can decide what should happen in another tool whenever something occurs in BrainCert.

Follow this guide to set up Flowmattic triggers

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to configure a BrainCert Action in Flowmattic. For this example, we’ll use the “User Created” action, meaning every time a new user is created in BrainCert, Flowmattic will perform the linked action (like adding the user’s details to Google Sheets).

Example Use Case

Whenever a new row is added in Google Sheets, Flowmattic will automatically enroll that user into a BrainCert course.

Flowmattic supports 13 different BrainCert actions to automate tasks like user creation, enrollments, and live class management.

Part 4: Test & Activate

Your Flowmattic–BrainCert Action integration is now active.
From now on, whenever the trigger happens (e.g., form submission, order, or sheet update), BrainCert will automatically perform the selected action.

Notes & Recommendations

  • Ensure your API Key is active in BrainCert under Extensions.

  • Required fields must be mapped correctly; otherwise, the action will fail.

  • For testing, start with a dummy user before going live.

  • Use Conditions in Flowmattic if you only want BrainCert actions for specific cases (e.g., only enroll if payment = success).

You’ve now successfully set up a BrainCert Action in Flowmattic using the “User Created” event as an example. This automation helps you eliminate manual work by instantly updating your connected apps whenever new users are added to BrainCert.

From here, you can explore other BrainCert actions in Flowmattic, such as course enrollment, assessment completion, or certificate issuance, to create powerful automations tailored to your training needs.
