OpenGraph (OG) Image & SEO Settings for Enhanced Social Media Sharing and Search Visibility

To enhance how your LMS content appears when shared on social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, we've introduced SEO settings & OpenGraph (OG) Image Enhancements.

This helps boost your brand visibility, improve click-through rates, and create a more professional first impression across platforms.

  • ✅ Ensure dynamic OG tags are automatically applied to catalog items such as courses, tests, and live classes—pulling in their titles, descriptions, and cover images for rich, eye-catching previews.
  • ✅ Set a default OG image for your LMS domain (used on landing, login, and content pages)
This article explains how to set meta tags for your default landing page, content pages, login page template, and how to configure a global OG image as a fallback when one isn’t specified.

Additionally, courses, tests, and other products will use their own cover images as Open Graph (OG) images and automatically populate the meta title and description based on their content.


Step 1: Access Global and Basic Settings

Navigate to 'Global Settings' from the left-hand menu.

Then Click 'Basic Settings'  to access configuration options for branding and metadata.

Step 2: Upload OpenGraph (OG) Image

  • Scroll down at middle of the page you can see the OpenGraph (OG) Image Section and Click 'Upload' to select an image from your device. 
  • Scroll to bottom of 'Basic Settings' page and then Click 'Save'.
The default OG image set in Basic Settings will be used as a fallback if no OG image is specified for landing or login pages. Additionally, since content pages do not have their own OG image settings, the image from Basic Settings will be applied by default.

Customize OpenGraph (OG) Images for Login Pages


Step 1: Access theme page Settings

Go to 'Global Settings', Select 'Theme' in the Options.

Step 2: Edit Theme-Specific Page

Currently, only the "Modern Education" login/register page template supports custom SEO tags.

Under the 'Options' tab, select pages to update:

  1. Edit Registration Page: Configures OG images for shared registration links.

  2. Edit Forgot Password Page: Includes OG images for password reset links.

  3. Edit Login Page: Adds OG images for login page shares.

Step 3: Update SEO Metadata for Theme Pages

On each page (Registration, Login, Forgot Password), navigate to 'Update SEO Settings' in the top menu.

Step 4: Update meta tags and OG image

Here is the 'SEO Settings', Fill the required boxes of SEO Title, Description, Keywords and also click 'upload' OpenGraph (OG) Image

Step 1: Navigate to the specific Landing Page template

Go to 'Landing Pages', click 'Options' next to the landing page template you've set as the default for your LMS, and then select 'SEO Settings'.

Step 2: Update meta tags and OG image for the landing page


When the SEO Settings link is clicked, a popup will appear. Fill in the SEO tags, select an image using 'Upload', and then click 'Update'.

You’ll see a confirmation message: Landing Page OpenGraph (OG) Image successfully updated.

Step 2: Update meta tags for the content page

Each content page includes options to add a meta title, description, and keywords. The OG image is pulled from "Basic Settings" under "Global Settings", ensuring a consistent Open Graph image across all content pages.

By configuring an OpenGraph image, you ensure a professional and consistent brand presence when sharing your LMS links on social media. This small update can significantly boost engagement and click-through rates.
