How to Introduce LaTeX Equations in Assessment Questions

This step-by-step guide will show you how to add LaTeX equations to your assessment questions in BrainCert.

LaTeX allows you to include complex mathematical expressions and equations, making your assessments more accurate and professional. Follow these instructions to create detailed math assessments.

Supported Question Types:

LaTeX equations can be added to various question types, including Multiple Choice, Multiple True or False, Multiple Answer, Audio Questions, Video Questions, and Scenario Questions.


Steps to Add LaTeX Equations

Step 1:

Log in to your BrainCert account. Navigate to the 'Products' section and select 'Assessments'.

Step 2:

Navigate to a Test and Select 'Questions' from the options.

Step 3:

Click the 'Add Questions' button to start creating a new question.

Step 4:

Fill in all the necessary details for your question. To add a LaTeX equation to the question, click the 'LaTeX' button in the editor toolbar.

Step 5:

Add the LaTeX code for your equation in the provided field and click the 'Submit' button.

Step 6:

You will now see the equation displayed in the question field.

Step 7:

Using the same LaTeX button found in the answer field, you can type equations for the answers. Once done, Save the changes made.
