How to Create an Online Test in the Unified Training Platform
Creating an online test with BrainCert is a straightforward and efficient process designed to enhance the assessment capabilities of educators, trainers, and organizations. This guide walks you through the steps to quickly set up, customize, and deploy your online tests, from building academic quizzes and professional certifications to training evaluations.
Step 1: Access the Assessment Section
Log in to your training platform, navigate to Assessments, and click on Create a Test.
Step 2: Assign Instructors
Select 'Change Instructor' to change the instructor for the test.
Step 3: Add Multiple Instructors
Select 'Add Multiple Instructors' to choose additional instructors from the list if needed.
Add Test Instructor
Select Instructor – choose the instructor

Remove Instructors – remove any instructor if needed

Choose User Type – select the user type from the dropdown

User Group – select the user group from the dropdown
Select from the list available and click Add.
You will now see multiple instructors added to the assessment.
Step 4: Fill in Basic Information
Provide the required basic test details such as test title, description, and instructions for learners.
Step 5: Upload Image
Upload a relevant image for the test, or select one from the BrainCert Library by clicking 'Choose from Library'.
Step 6: Configure Advanced Settings
Alter test settings based on your requirements:

View Answers During Test:
Allow or deny test-takers from viewing answers while the test is in progress.If 'Yes' is selected, the scoring algorithm defaults to Standard Scoring and cannot be changed.

Resume Test Session:
Allow students to resume the test if they exit intentionally or accidentally. -
Show Results to Candidate:
Display the final result to learners after completion.
(Note: Typically set to "No" for pre-hire assessments.) -
Lockdown Functionality:
Prevent users from printing the screen or performing cut/copy actions. -
Show Attempts Count:
Display the number of attempts made by each learner. -
Time-Based Settings:
Turn the timer ON/OFF and set the allotted test time. -
Review Answers After Test:
Allow or deny students from reviewing questions and answers after completing the test. -
Passing Score:
Set the required passing score (e.g., 60, 70, 80). -
Tags:
Add keyword tags to help learners easily find your test.
Step 7: Set Payment Preferences
Choose whether the test is 'Free' or 'Paid'.

Select your preferred currency

After creating the test, you can set pricing plans, shopping cart options, and discount coupons
Finally, click 'Save'.
Step 8: Publish Your Test
Go to 'Assessments', click the options menu for the assessment, and select 'Publish'.
Confirm your choice when prompted.
Your test is now live.
