Supporting browsers for HTML5 Virtual Classroom

BrainCert's HTML5 Virtual Classroom is powered by WebRTC technology which is required for audio and video conferencing. WebRTC is a standard for transmitting audio and video between browsers in real-time without having to install additional plugins.

Web (Windows, Mac, Linux) :

Works on the most recent versions of Chrome and Firefox desktop browsers.

Microsoft Internet Explorer is not supported.

Microsoft Edge browser is supported but there are chances of disruptions. We recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser.

Apple recently released Safari Technology Preview release 32 version, which is built into macOS High Sierra and will support WebRTC required for audio & video conferencing.

Safari compatibility is limited to only Safari 11. To get Safari 11, you can download the Safari Technology Preview, Mac OS 10.13, or iOS 11 and more.

Android :

Mobile browsers such as Opera and Chrome on Android is fully supported.

iOS (iPhone/iPad) :

Apple recently announced that the new Safari 11 browser version will support WebRTC.

The versions from Safari 11 browsers on macOS and iPhone/iPad devices are now supported.
