The Calendar feature on BrainCert allows users to manage events both online and offline. With the online calendar, both learners and instructors can track their live virtual classroom session schedules and join live classes. Instructors can reschedule both online and offline events with drag and drop.

Managing an offline event using the calendar extension.

Step 1

Login to the LMS with your account credentials and navigate to extensions and activate the 'Calendar' extension.



Step 2

Navigate back to the home page and select 'Calendar' from the left side navigation menu. Select 'Add Event' from the dropdown.



Step 3

After you select 'Add Event' you will be redirected to the page where you can schedule the event. Enter relevant information including date, time of class, event staff, event title, event location, attendees, event duration, event description & event banner on the respective fields. Note that you can add individual attendees or assign an entire group for the event.



Step 4

Once you enter the relevant information, add banner and select event color, click on 'Add Event'.



Step 5

After you add the event, you need to drag the created event to the date on calendar on which you need to schedule the event.



Step 6

Navigate to 'My Calendar' to see the newly created event.



Step 7

Note that once you schedule an event the assigned learners can view the scheduled event from the 'My Calendar' option on their account.



Rescheduling an offline event

To reschedule an event click on a scheduled event from 'My Events' and drag and drop it to the date you want to reschedule it to.

Managing a scheduled live class using the calendar feature

The live classes created on BrainCert training platform will be added to the calendar. To view your scheduled live classes, navigate to 'My Calendar'. Note that using the calendar feature, instructors can manage the scheduled live classes and learners can view and join live classes from the calendar on the learner login.

Step 1

Step 2

Navigate to 'My calendar' where you can see the live class you have already scheduled.



Step 3

To invite attendees to the live class, click on the live class from the calendar and invite individual students or user groups for the class.



Step 4

Invite users for your live class. In this example we are inviting individual students for the class and sending them notification.



Step 5

After you invite students, they can view the list of scheduled classes from the calendar on the learner dashboard.



After you invite students/user groups to the live class, the assigned learners can join for the live class from the calendar on their dashboard.
